How to change the air filter

1. Open the Bonnet: Pull the release lever inside the driver’s footwell, then release the secondary latch under the front grille and prop the bonnet open with the support rod.

2. Locate the Airbox: Find the black plastic air filter housing on the left (passenger side for RHD or driver side depending on model, usually near the side of the engine bay).

3. Open the Lid: Unclip the metal or plastic latches (typically four clips around the perimeter of the box) and lift the cover off.

4. Remove the Old Filter: Lift out the old air filter element.

5. Clean the Housing: Wipe out any loose leaves, dirt, or dust from inside the bottom of the airbox using a cloth or vacuum.

6. Install the New Filter: Insert the new air filter into the housing, ensuring the rubber seal or lip sits flush and flat all the way around the edge.

7. Secure the Cover: Put the airbox lid back on and snap all the clips firmly back into place. Lower the bonnet and drop it securely.
